K-pop Idols’ Song Recommendations for Chuseok Holiday Playlist

Many idols from various groups including Super Junior, SHINee, MBLAQ, Block B, B.A.P, Block B, FTISLAND, BTS, and Akdong Musician have made song recommendations just in time for the Chuseok Holiday! Add these songs to your Chuseok playlist for a more enjoyable holiday~

Super Junior’s Donghae recommends Ellie Goulding’s “How Long Will I Love” from the OST of “About Time,” for everyone to remember the importance of family, as people spend the holidays with their loved ones.

SHINee’s Jonghyun suggests a song by Jaurim titled “You’re Not Alone” to provide comfort for those who are unable to go home to spend time with family for the holidays.

B1A4’s Jinyoung recommends Black Eyed Peas’ “Whenever” to have fun during the tiring drives to and from home. He also recommends Robin Thicke’s “Mona Lisa” as a song that the ladies would enjoy as they drive as well.

MBLAQ’s Thunder suggests Lee Sun Hee’s “Turning the Pages of Memories” and Lee Moon Sae’s “When I Stand Under the Shade of a Roadside Tree” as songs that family members of all ages will enjoy listening to.

B.A.P’s Bang Yong Guk recommends Lil’ Rob’s “Summer Nights” for those who especially like hip-hop music and want to listen to a sweet, west coast style song during long drives.

Block B’s Zico suggests Block B’s “Jackpot” as an encouragement for everyone to hit ‘jackpot’ during the holidays. He also suggests Sunmi’s “Full Moon” as people spend a ‘romantic’ time with their families.

FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki recommends FTISLAND’s “Always With You” as a warm song to spend a warm Chuseok. Also, fellow group member Jaejin recommends Annyeongbada’s “Starlight Is Falling,” as people will be able to see many stars in the sky when they go back to their hometowns away from Seoul.

BTS’ Rap Monster suggests the song “Aloha” by Cool as a song that is perfect for relaxing. He also suggests India Arie’s “Chocolate High” for couples to listen to, as well as Nas’ “Doo Rags” for those who enjoy hip-hop. Fellow group member Suga recommends ASAP Rocky’s “Wild for the Night” as a fun and upbeat song, along with Jessie J’s “Bang Bang” and DJ Snake & Lil’ Jon’s “Turn Down for What.”

Akdong Musician’s Chan Hyuk recommends Yoo Seung Woo’s “Because Night Is So Precious (Clear Ver.),” as the time spent with family during the holidays is precious.
